Luciana Baptista-Cohen, handwork – Luciana is an enthusiastic handwork teacher with over 10 years of experience working with adults in Waldorf school communities. After pausing her career in design to focus on raising her children, she directed her creativity towards handwork. Specializing in doll making, Luciana has since dedicated herself to sharing the art of handcraft with others, helping students reconnect with their own creativity and craftsmanship. Her teaching is grounded in the Waldorf tradition, with a focus on fostering both skill and creativity in a nurturing, supportive environment.
Tania Cherneta, Music – Tania is a career musician and music teacher who recently moved to Canada from Ukraine where she taught music for six years at the Sophia Waldorf School in Kyiv. As Associate Professor at Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University and the National Academy of Culture and Arts, she taught bachelor’s and master’s students. Tania holds a Master’s in Orchestra Music Instruments and Vocal and completed a Ph.D. in Art Studies. She also trained in Waldorf pedagogical methods. Here in Canada she teaches music at the Rudolf Steiner College Canada and in private classes.
Micaela González, Visual Art – Micaela has taught visual arts to adults and children in various capacities in the Waldorf community. As well as a teacher, Micaela is a visual artist with an artistic practice since 2007. Working in a variety of artistic mediums, mainly in painting, her work has been exhibited in Canada and abroad. She has been a volunteer in anthroposophical initiatives in Argentina and Canada. More recently she has collaborated with Fundación Colmenar coordinating online anthroposophy study groups for Latin America. Micaela studied Fine Arts, Film Studies and is a certified Waldorf teacher. She teaches visual arts in the Waldorf teacher education program at RSCC and works in Waldorf schools in Toronto.
