The Voices of Experience online course is a compilation of lectures and discussions that took place at the College’s various programs and events, including Waldorf Teacher Education program, Waldorf Development Conference, and Summer Festival of Arts and Education. The seven educators featured in the course are some of the leading Waldorf teacher educators in the world today. They are: Christof Wiechert, Nettie Fabrie, Wim Gottenbos, Martyn Rawson, Merwin Lewis, Barbarah Nicoll, and Diane Walters. The lectures cover a wide range of topics and concerns, from child development to curriculum to the spiritual tasks and development of the teacher and include numerous examples of classroom activities. We invite you to engage with this course material and hope that it will be a source of inspiration, deeper understanding and support for you. If you would like to learn more about anthroposophy and Rudolf Steiner, our course, Anthroposophy: An Introduction is also available on our website. Both Voices of Experience and Anthroposophy: An Introduction can be used as study material at school faculty meetings, parent meetings and meetings among friends.

A New Way to Learn About Anthroposophy

Perhaps you have heard about Waldorf education or biodynamic farming. Maybe you have attended a lecture about the life and work of Rudolf Steiner and his path of inner development. Now you want to know more.

Anthroposophy: An Introduction, RSCC’s first online course, could be just what you are looking for. It is designed for those with little or no previous knowledge of anthroposophy. This course is a blend of original video presentations with leading Canadian anthroposophical thinkers and doers, selected readings, and interactive graphics.

Our goal is to provide enough of an orientation to the core content of anthroposophy to assist you in finding your own confident pathway forward. It will also prepare you to better understand and experience how anthroposophy inspires work in practical fields like Waldorf education, biodynamic farming, and architecture.

This course is for anyone anywhere with an internet connection. All you need to do is enroll, pay $50 CDN and start.

See full details with registration and sign-in links below. Students will have access to the course content for one year from the date that they purchase the course.

“The Trillium Waldorf School Board is deeply committed to the principles of Waldorf education.  Recently, we completed the course, “Anthroposophy: An Introduction” offered by Rudolf Steiner College Canada.  Each month we would read a module and then take time during our board meeting to discuss what we learned and felt.  This process not only built unity amongst board members but assisted us in gaining a renewed appreciation for how Steiner’s teachings enrich our understanding of child development, pedagogy, and the transformative role of education. We wholeheartedly endorse this course and encourage other Waldorf school boards, educators, parents, and community members to explore Anthroposophy through this introductory course.” – Board of Directors, Trillium Waldorf School
