Small Group Teaching Position
My name is Marni Salkovitch and I’m an alumni of the Toronto Waldorf School, and the parent of a 7 year old son. My son has been attending school through the TDSB, and since September, has been “attending” school online in a pod of 5 children.
Seeing my son in front of a screen all day long is disheartening- especially with my experience at TWS, and knowing that there is a better way. A few parents and I have been brainstorming how we can create a safe, engaging and whole child focused experience while adhering to current guidelines. In September, we’re hoping to hire a teacher for our 5 children, who can provide a more wholistic learning environment, with plenty of outdoor play. We live in the east end of Toronto (Gerrard and Coxwell) and would be interesting in hiring a Waldorf trained teacher for a full time position. If you know if anyone who might be interested, please do pass along my information. Thank you and stay safe! Contact: Marni Salkovitch 416-731-6033
