We are pleased to announce the hiring of Marta Bak as the RSCC’s new Student Support and Outreach Manager. This is a new position. Executive Director James Brian and Director of Waldorf Early Childhood Education Karen Weyler are looking forward to Marta’s support going forward.

Marta has previously worked at Hesperus Village as Property Manager, and as Manager of Resident Relations, Programs and Volunteers. She has also recently worked for the Regional Municipality of York as a Housing Service Representative. Marta studied Social Anthropology and Business Administration at York University. The following is from the job description for Marta’s new position at RSCC:

The Student Support and Outreach Manager works to support the success of the Rudolf Steiner College Canada’s vocational programs and adult education programs. The position reports to the Executive Director and works closely with program directors, volunteers, and contractors. The role has four main functions:

1)      Participating in marketing, promotions, and outreach efforts to attract new students

2)      Supporting prospective students through the admission process

3)      Supporting enrolled students to enhance course participation and student experience

4)      General office management and administrative duties
