As you may know by now, the RSCC Summer Festival starts July 5 with a week of grade intensives for Waldorf teachers to prepare for teaching the next grade in September. But whether you have registered for any Summer Festival courses or not, you are welcome to tune into this week’s series of free lectures, which are described below. No need to register or pay anything. Just use the Zoom links provided below. You can even share them with your friends.

These events will take place from 5:00 to 6:00 PM via zoom on July 6, 7, 8 and 10. Two third-year student teachers of the Professional Development for Waldorf Teachers Part-Time program, Jared Coady, and Liisa Hymander, will present the results of their action research projects, research developed out of their daily practice as Waldorf teachers.

Patrice Maynard (from Waldorf Publications) will speak on the beginnings of the Waldorf school movement and the lives of Emile and Berta Molt.

Joaquin Munoz will speak on the topic Culturally Appropriate or Cultural Appropriation? and how to apply these guidelines as teachers seeking to diversify their materials to present to the children.
