In-person RSCC Foundation Studies in Anthroposophy Encounter programs starting in Sept. 2022 are now being offered in three Ontario locations. In Thornhill the program will take place on Saturday mornings, in Guelph on Monday nights, and in Burlington it will be on Friday evening and Saturday on the third weekend of the month and will run through to Jan. 2024. Thornhill and Guelph programs will run Sept. 2022 to May 2023.

Who is it for? Foundation Studies is for anyone who wants to learn about anthroposophy, explore the arts from an anthroposophical perspective, or lay the groundwork for becoming a Waldorf teacher. Of course Foundation Studies can also be a preparation for other anthroposophical work in fields such as biodynamic farming, medicine, art therapy, social development, counseling, sciences, etc.

Now of course there’s also Foundation Studies Distance in which you work with a mentor and study independently on your own timetable. That’s sometimes the only option for people who live in remote locations or whose schedule does not allow them to commit to meeting regularly in-person. Foundation Studies Distance makes sense for people in those situations.

The reason to choose Foundation Studies Encounter over the Distance, where possible, is that the Encounter program adds a social dimension in which you share the learning experience with your peers. That’s especially nice after these past two years when so many courses have been restricted to Zoom.

Register Now. September is just around the corner.
