Kathryn Humphrey started her Waldorf journey by taking the full-time Waldorf Teacher Education program at RSCT (now RSCC). Since graduating in 1988, she has gone on to take three classes through from grade 1 to grade 8 at Toronto Waldorf School. Currently she is the Lower School faculty chair at TWS.

Kathryn has also taken time during sabbaticals to help train Waldorf teachers in Thailand and Peru. She has furthered her own understanding of Waldorf through completing RSCT’s Healing Education and Remedial Training (HEART), a program specializing in remedial work. In addition to her Waldorf teacher education, Kathryn also has an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor of Education from Queen’s University.

Kathryn’s talk on Thursday April 13th at 7 pm will be the third in our series of five free Thursday evenings at RSCC for those interested in becoming a Waldorf teacher. Her presentation will take place in front of a in-person audience at RSCC’s Thornhill campus and will also be livestreamed over Zoom. You can find the link to that livestream here.
