Indigenous Waldorf was a very popular offering at the 2018 Summer Festival. See photo of participants above. Now that four years have passed since that course, we are preparing another round of Indigenous Waldorf learning for the 2022 RSCC Summer Festival. Indigenous Waldorf will be offered in the mornings of Week 2 (July 18-22). From the brochure:
Indigenous Waldorf Inclusion Work is for teachers wishing to engage in a genuine approach to integrating Indigenous knowledge and perspectives in their work throughout the school community, in the classrooms and beyond. This work will be rooted specifically in a Haudenosaunee perspective that will provide a framework for respecting the diversity of Indigenous people in Canada. Curriculum and learning resources will be shared as well as practical advice for culturally appropriate pedagogy.
See the Summer Festival brochure for presenter bios and festival particulars.
For full information and registration link, see Summer Festival page on rscc.ca
We are posting this on Tuesday, June 21st, National Indigenous People’s Day in Canada.
